“Pipoli” Aglianico is an intense deep ruby while the bouquet is ample, with dominant notes of bitter cherry, candied fruit, aromatic herbs and distant hints of vanilla and thyme. The flavor has an exceptional, powerful and imperious personality, with warm elegant undertones of spices and cream. This is a wine with marked minerality and flavor, characteristics that give it extraordinary balance and drinkability.
Intense ruby red. Intense and rich nose, with a pronounced sensation of ripe red fruit and spices. Warm, smooth and with a good structure. Great smoothness with a good balance of tannins. Although not classed as a Riserva, with its immensely refined organoleptic qualities, generous body and extensive ageability, it has the characteristics to be a great companion of full flavored entrees such as roasts and game. Stored properly it can age for 5/6 years. Serve at 18/20 °C.

With grapes sourced from the finest vineyards in California, Trim offers aficionados the sensual pleasures of a rich full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. Everybody deserves a little Trim now and then.
Wood and liquorice stand out on the nose, though the vinous quality of the Nebbiolo grapes persists. Very soft on the mouth, thanks to the well-balanced tannins and the roundness of the vintage.
Medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with lots of ripe dark fruit character
A dry and medium-bodied Sangiovese. Red fruited with a long savoury finish. Great with pasta.
First made in 1985, it was intended as an homage from father Italo to son Sergio, who in that year joined his father at the helm of the winery. Ser Gioveto is also a reference to the archaic name of Sangiovese – Sangioveto – which was the main grape chosen for the new wine. From the 2015 harvest it is, for the first time, under the Chianti Classico Riserva appellation and is 100% Sangiovese from a single vineyard named Pian Della Casina.
87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot
In 2014 the yields were slightly higher than in 2015, and his 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate shows flattering, front-end loaded and pretty red and black fruits, a dense, dark ruby/purple-tinged color, medium to full body, sweet tannin and a rather Bordeaux-like lushness and elegance. Drink it over the next 15 or so years. - Robert Parker, 94 points
Lots of raspberry coulis, dried redcurrants and red-plum compote here. The medium-to full-bodied palate has fleshy and succulent appeal with juicy tannins and a fruit-forward finish. Drink now or hold. Score - 93. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Nov. 7, 2019)
Our Hilltop Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on a handful of select vineyard sites in the Paso Robles AVA. Blessed with long summer days of intense sunshine, our near 100°F daytime temperatures are followed by chilly, ocean-cooled nights in the 50s. These Cabernet vines are naturally stressed in the dry, often very gravelly, and sometimes lime shale-laden soils. Water is at a premiumin these vineyards, enabling the viticulturist to fine-tune irrigation, resulting in the darkest fruit with resolved tannins year after year
Brilliant dark ruby, the nose of this 2015 is pretty, fun, and serious all at the same time. Berries and cream, cardamom, and rose petal entwine in this complex package. Lush and mouth-filling while the perfect tannins and weight lift the spice flavors to a lengthy and refreshing finish. Destined to last for many years.
Ruby red with a garnet hue. Aromas of forest berries and sour cherries with earth notes. Harmonious on the palate with soft fine tannins, medium-body and delicate forest fruit flavours.
This Pinot Noir flourishes in the vineyards around Mazzon. These hills, a conglomerate of particular soils of loam, chalk, and porphyry, and the very well-suited climate, form the ideal basis for producing a Pinot Noir of international stature.
